For teens, which is better? Disney cruise or royal caribbean?

I have been on 2 disney cruises & have been extremely satisfied with them, so much that i cry whenever i have to leave the ship. How is royal caribbean the same or different? Which is also better?

Well, Disney seems like a good choice, but Royal Caribbean would be a good choice too, depending on the ship. If you sail on Freedom of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, or Independence of the Seas, I would recommend Royal Caribbean. They have a lot of activities teens would enjoy like ice skating, rock climbing, and surfing. Otherwise, Disney is your best bet.

My first time on a cruise, VERY SCARED, need help?

its my first time going on a cruise. im 18 going with my best friend, her bf and my bf. were going to Mexico on the royal caribbean. should i be concerned about motion sickness, food poisoning, claustrophobia? im sure im being over dramatic, im just concerned. its for 7 days. any advice or tips would help too!

I'm not sure why everyone is so concerned with claustrophobia on a ship, considering the fact that the rooms are used for sleep only and most people close their window blinds when they go to sleep even when at home. Its weird how those same people worry about claustrophobia on a ship but at home they've got the same sleep environment and nobody suffers from claustrophobia.

The ship hands out sea sickness pills free, you could also ingest some ginger same effect as pills without the sleepiness.

The island because it does not have the local effects like a thunderstorm in Kansas building into a tornado on short notice.

I'm curvy and embarrassed to wear a swimsuit?

To make a long story short, I'm a D cup and due to my round butt, I have to wear Apple bottom jeans. I'm going on a trip with some friends to the Caribbean islands. We're going to be at the beach a lot, and the only problem is that I hate wearing a bathing suit because it's basically like being naked for me and I feel super self-conscious. How can I avoid showing my boobs and butt to all my friends (including guys)?!

1) Try these styles of swimsuits:
-a 50's pin up bikini, good support for your boobs, they have boy shorts so you won't be showing off your bum to passers by, plus they're super cute and sex still, but without showing so much skin, I'd really recommend this style for you, I promise it will be flattering. Try searching '50's pin-up bikini' if your not sure what I mean.
-a triangle halter neck bikini top, will give your boobs great support cover ups your boobs nicely and looks pretty.
-boy short bikini bottoms or knicker shaped ones

Avoid:
-high leg bikini bottoms
-bandeau styles
-thong bikini bottoms (God forbid)
-string bikinis

2)Take a cute little sundress or sarong with you so you can cover up more on the beack without looking too over dresses

3) LOVE YOURSELF... what I'd give to have curves...

I need to cancel my Royal Caribbean cruise which is about 45 days away.?

I got the insurance with my travel agent. How much can I get back at this point? Can I get money back for my deposit and non-refundable flights since I got the insurance?

Most Cruise companies will grant refunds this far out depending on how you booked it. If you went to your standard travel agent they can help you. However, if you booked it yourself or through a discount service you may not get all of your deposit back. Non-refundable flights are exactly that. You many be able to get credit applicable towards a flight on a later date. Again it depends on how you booked them.

I do not know what level of trip insurance you have. Some top level policies will refund most of your money others will only refund money if you are physically unable to go through with it.

You have a lot of phoning to do. If you cannot get refunds try for credit.

Question about Caribbean.?

Entertainment: The G.O.s and Coast Guard made the vacation because without them it would have been an episode of Lost on an abandoned island. Make sure you take care of the bartenders (tip $$$) and then you will see how they will come right to you everytime you walk up to the bar. The shows are somewhat OK watch the Circus Show on Fri night as that is the best one. Forget about the gym no treadmill, weights are that of an old folks home in west palm. Play softball as that is one of the best times you will have on the island......mix in some ping pong.

Question: I was reading a review about Providenciales Turks & Caicos Islands, Caribbbean above. Does anyone know what is The G.O.s and Coast Guard? Are they something like entertainment or security people?

Remember that Club Med is a French organisation. GOs are "gentils organisateurs" -- kind organisers [of group activities]. The Coast Guard is the person on duty to ensure that nobody drowns or capsizes. Club Med in Provo is on Grace Bay beach and you have to keep an eye on people, just in case.
