my boyfriend just got a call from a place called Caribbean cruise line is it a scam?

he got a call and they said he won a cruise but he had to pay 118 dollars as a boarding fee they told him he had 18 months to set up his cruise but we didn't have the money at the time we looked it up and people said it was a scam i really want to know if its a scam or not because we actually want to go if you have any info please tell me

I don't have any personal experience with them, but why would a legitimate company call random people out of the blue and offer them cruises?

Miami its got really hot girls and the clubs are amazing if thats your thing. Or you might want to tries going to LA again great beaches, really hot girl, and great clubs. Vegas would probably be a good place to visit so much to do with all the shows, clubs and Casino's. Their always tournements and sports events going on as well. It all depends on what your looking to do on your vactation.

Which is the best all inclusive resort in the Caribbean for a large group of friends?

We are looking for different things to do and see. Like R&R, beach, fishing, sight seeing, shopping, fun & silly entertainment, dancing, etc. Back in 90's we went to a great resort in Mexico. It had everything anyone could ask for. But these days everyone and every place is into this spa crap. I don't have anything against spa crap BUT enough is enough. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if you're from the US or elsewhere....but I would recommend Cayo Coco, Cuba (or even other places in Cuba). Sol Melia is an excellent resort chain.
There is so much to do in Cuba and the sights and activities are so much fun. But most of all, the Cubans are a great people, warm, genuine, fun-loving, hospitable, and know how to get you to have fun!

Tryp Cayo Coco is a fabulous resort...Lively people and activities, great food, gorgeous beach, deep-sea fishing/diving, snorkelling, dancing, crazy entertainment...it's all there. The Entertainment Staff is so much fun...have great friends there. You won't regret it at that place.

How can a Canadian citizen move to paradise ie: Caribbean,Bahamas,Ibiza,Hawii,Fiji,Bora Bora?

I was born and raised in Toronto Canada. 28 years old, liveing the average life. Im sick of the cold winters and the same old live to work life style here in T.O I wanna move to a tropical place with a beautiful beach. How is it legally posible? Where is it possible with little hasstle or legality. Where is the best/ safest island or paradise to move to? HELP!!! lol

Well there is hope! I left Toronto about 3 years ago for the same reasons and now I'm Maintenance Manager at a lovely private resort in the Carib.... andI've never looked back!

I can't give you a job but hopefully I can give you some encouragement. Don't plan on any one country at first... find something that will take you from country to country. Cruise ships are a good way to get started and you can learn a lot about things like taxes and leaving your Canadian residence status/ohip behind. You can work on a US ship if it isn't in the US. Similarly, you can work on any foreign ship while it's in the US. It's a legal ballet that you can use.

Get a talent. A chef is invaluable (and well paid)on yachts/ships/rich fuckers'homes. Bartenders are always needed on cruise ships. If you can swing a wrench there's a shortage of mechanical talent (that's how I got here!) But whatever it is, you have to be able to get through the interview. Certifications, references, experience. The biggest secret is this: Do what you love and promote it.

Do a web search for cruise ship crew. There are hiring agencies for these jobs, you just don't know where to look - yet. I've included one to get you started.

It really is possible. Keep trying. Keep looking. Keep it in the back of your mind always and one day you'll find a niche that fits you. I spent 10 years dreaming then a break - I met a guy online looking for a volunteer to help deliver a sailboat. The rest just fell into place.

And one last tip: be ready to make a leap of faith on a moment's notice. Having no dependants is invaluable. Having friends who encourage you is even more so. Bills, mortgages, child support are all great excuses to prevent you from leaving your rut.

You're crazy for thinking you can do it and I wish you all the luck in the world! But once you make it, do me one little favour: ecourage others whenever you see that spark in their eyes....
