caribbean cruise deals

If you have never gone on a cruise, then you simply have no idea how much fun can be had on a ship. And, once you come back from your first cruise, you won't be able to wait until it is time for your next vacation - another cruise! Many people plan for year and years for their first cruise, but if you are a little more flexible and can go without so much notice, you can save a lot of money on late cruise deals.
There was a time when you would have to book your cruise up to a year in advance, because the demand was more than the amount of rooms available. But, today there are many new ships out on the seas and the cruise lines are eager to fill every room. They can't afford to let any cabin go without passengers, so they offer some really good late cruise deals that you can take advantage of.
Whether you are able to travel at a moment's notice (usually the same week), or are willing to book as far out as a month or two, you can get late cruise deals on virtually all of the major cruise lines, saving up to half what you would pay if you booked in advance.
There are several ways to go about this. First of all, contact each of the cruise lines and get on their mailing list. This will help you become apprised of what deals there are. Also check with online travel brokers who can let you know when there are upcoming openings on destinations of your choice.
If you are able to travel on a short notice, you won't believe how much less you will pay than everyone else on the ship, leaving you more money to play with onboard.

What are all the fees for a Royal Caribbean Cruise?
I was thinking about booking a Royal Caribbean Cruise and I was wondering how much it cost for a inside cabin.And all the other fees. Also if there is any deals for how many people go on the cruise together. I am taking 3 people on the cruise including me.Thank you!
All cruise cabins are sold based on double occupancy and the prices listed will be per person and based on at least two people going on the cruise. (If you have a 3rd and/or 4th person in your cabin their fare is generally about 50% of the first two persons. AND, sometimes cruise lines will run specials where the 3rd and 4th person in your cabin gets a huge discount and pay only about $200 each) The price you pay will depend mostly on the type cabin/accommodations that you choose.
There are 4 basic types of cabins on ships;
- inside (no window),................................… least expensive
- outside (a window or porthole),
- balcony/veranda, and
- suites and penthouses.......................... most expensive.
On some Royal Caribbean ships they have inside cabins that overlook an interior pedestrian mall and they are a great price. The "FROM" prices you see will always be for an inside cabin. The price will depend on how many days the cruise is, how early you book (early bookings get the best discounts), and whether you book a "special or deal" Royal Caribbean usually has great prices on deals and when you pick the lowest priced date.
For example, look at these two cruise listings:

So you can get an inside cabin for a 7 day cruise for about $500 per person and that's a great price. The third person in you cabin would be about $250. So the average would be about $450 per person.
You can reserve a cruise by (1) booking on line; (2) by calling the cruise line, or (3) through a travel agent. You will pay at booking the minimum deposit which will be about $250 for a 7 day cruise. The balance will be due approximately 60 days before the cruise departure date. But you can make periodic payment on line, with your travel agent, or with the cruise line.
For the most part all cruises are all inclusive. Regardless of which cruise you select the things that are included are pretty much the same. The price of your cruise includes your cabin, all meals (including breakfast, lunch dinner, snacks and free room service), free admissions to all shows and entertainment, and free use of all facilities on ship like the pools, hots tubs, gym, disco, etc,., except spa services. The things that you will have to pay for are gratuities (tips) alcoholic drinks and soft drinks, photos that you want, any tours from the ship you want to take, spa services like massages, and internet service. Gratuities will be about $10 per day per person and cover the cabin steward, waiter and assistant and the Matre'd. Other tips are added to drink orders at a rate of 15%.
