Which of these feral animals do you think would thrive in my tropical country?

Hello everyone i reside on a small tropical island located in the eastern caribbean.It has a population of approximately 150,000 people.There aren't many large mammals,but these are the mammals native to the island;they comprise of the st.lucian agouti,st.lucian opossum or manicou and the rice rat.The indian mongoose was introduced to the island during the 19 century.This is my real question.Which one these 'feral animals' would most likely thrive on the island:

A.The feral pig

B.The feral goat.

C.The feral rabbit.

D.The feral blue and gold macaw.

N.B. This is a hypothetical question.

I am planning my 16th birthday party, and I chose to have it on a cruise ship. I want to take me and some of my friends on a cruise. But I need help finding out which cruise ship i should go on? I've already been on the Royal Caribbean. So do you have any ideas? Thanks.

are cruise holidays just for the 'oldies'?

I quite like the idea of going on a cruise holiday [Caribbean or red sea maybe] but my girlfriend is adamant that they are full of 'biddies' [apologies, no offense intended to all you old-timers ] are there any cruises that cater for younger couples or is the 'old people' stereotype true for all cruise holidays ? We've looked at easy-cruise but its looks a bit too chavvy. i am 26 she is 25.

Is your girlfriend aware that Disney has two cruise ships? How young do you want to go? The Disney ships are full of young families.

Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian tend to attract a younger more active group of passengers. All three lines offer non-stop activities. You and your girlfriend would have a great time on any of these three cruise lines.

Also, all three cruise lines offer shorter cruises, from overnight (they don't go anywhere, just out to sea for fourteen or so hours and then back to the port) to three, four and five night cruises. The three night weekend cruises (leaving on Friday night and returning Monday morning) are typically party cruises. Try out a short cruise and see if you like it. If you do, book a longer cruise. If not, the cruise will be over soon.

The cruise lines you want to avoid are Princess, Holland American Line and Celebrity. These lines tend to attract the older passengers that your girlfriend wants to avoid.

what is the cheapest Caribbean island?

I'm already planning for next summer. I want to spend a whole month on a beach somewhere and I know I can't afford an all inclusive resort for a month so a friend suggested that I look into people who rent houses or condos on the beach. Where is the most inexpensive place to go? I'm planning on having friends come once I'm already there and they can pay me instead of paying for a hotel or resort.

check out different locales, on homeaway.com or vrbo.com those websites have better monthly rates because they are private owners of condos and villas, and not hotels.

Any caribbean travel suggestions for newlyweds?

my husband went to a beautiful all-inclusive resort in Jamaica for our honeymoon about 6 months ago, and now we're planning another caribbean vacation for later this year. The only problem is, we can't afford to drop a few thousand dollars on a vacation like we did on the honeymoon, but we'd still like to stick with all-inclusive. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions?

If the USA couldn't make sanctions against Cuba work, what chance do they have of doing it against Iran?

Iran is an oil rich nation the size of Germany, France & Spain combined, not some tiny Caribbean island within bullying distance. The sanctions against Iraq were catastrophic for average Iraqis, but made not an iota of difference to Saddam Hussein. Are sanctions the USA's meagre hope of looking tough in the absence of any military option?
bill j; Thanks for the belly laugh. What DO they teach in American history classes?? The idea of tiny Cuba waging war on the USA is as laughable as it is impossible...but its does illustrate the idiot level of fear that many Americans have of foreign attack. Oh, and the Russian weapons were removed in return for US weapons being removed from Turkey, it had nothing whatsoever to do with sanctions.
