What kind of entertainment is there on Caribbean Cruise Line Bahamas Celebration?
Do they have some kind of rotating guest entertainer or a host? Do they have multiple venues for different times and themes?
Each ship will have a person called a cruise director who is responsible for booking entertainment. The entertainment usually consist of comedians, magic, singers etc. Usually the main shows will be in a theater and they probably have 2 shows a night so people during both dinner seatings can go. Also there will probably be a few other spots on the ship where they will have a singer / piano player etc. On most cruises there is also a few midnight shows were an R rated comedian will perfrom.

For my husband and I's 5th wedding anniversary (which isn't until 2009) we are thinking of going on a cruise in the Caribbean. We were thinking of going with Princess Cruise's because a while back they were offering a special celebratory package if you were celebrating a major anniversary while on the cruise. I don't know if they are doing this anymore so I don't know if we will actually book with them. Has anyone ever actually been on a Princess Cruise?? What can you tell me about it?? What are some other good cruise lines that cruise the Caribbean??
We just returned Wednesday from an 11 day Caribbean Cruise out of NYC to St. Thomas, San Juan, St. Maartin, Domenico. We were supposed to go to Tortola, but got caught in hurricane winds of about 100 miles per hour so had to skip that port.
We have been on almost every cruise line. This May we return to Caribbean on Royal Caribbean for nine days. We travel on cruises four times a year.
If you tell them its your anniversary, Royal Caribbean decorates your door, invites you to a special party and of all the cruise lines except Celebrity I give them five stars! For us, going on Celebrity or Royal Caribbean is being treated like family. Last year we were on Celebrity Infinity to Caribbean in January and to Hawaii in October. We took Royal Caribbean in March to Panama Canal. Can you tell we love the company?

You asked about Princess, so I'll tell you. We were supposed to go to St. Kitts in 2005 on Princess. This was my Christmas present to my husband as he is a railroad buff and wanted to ride their sugar train. Unfortunately, we were one of 86 cabins quarantined with Norovirus, so were unable to go anywhere the entire trip. Princess did nothing for us, neither did cruise insurance. However, Prime Minister of St. Kitts learned about our disappointment when I posted on internet and give interviews to Miami TV. People of St. Kitts paid for us to come down for a whole week.
Royal Caribbean has ice skating, wave surfing, basketball, golf, rock climbing, etc. You'll never want for activities on board! The entertainment is top notch and the food is to die for! Happy anniversary!

My parents booked a cruise on 3.27.2010 on the Costa Atlantica. How is it? What is it like on board? been on 2 cruises one on sovereign of seas with royal Caribbean and also celebrity century with celebrity cruise lines
It will be quite different from those you have taken so far. The basics will be the same, as far as what is included, but the atmosphere is very european. The majority do not speak English or if they do, it is a second language for them. Announcements are made in a number of languages. Food selections are also somewhat different.

I always hear frequent cruiser tell me that the "deals" that I get are not really deals at all. Like last year in August my husband and I took a cruise, we booked a balcony-aft view....on Carnival, it was the beginning of Aug and departing from galveston, tx and back to galveston, tx. It was a four day cruise to the western Caribbean. It cost $1250 tax/tips included all together. I was told that was a bad deal. I swear I checked every cruise site I knew about and I got the same prices as Carnival.com. For the frequent cruises on here, what sites do you go on to get better deals than the cruises website? thanks.
Chris and Felma, those are the same prices as well. Is there anything specific I should be inputting into the search selections?
I have found that the travel websites that specialize in cruises often have better deals than what you can get directly from the cruise line. How much you pay also depends on when you book. Booking either far in advance or at the last minute can sometimes get you a better deal. The last minute bookings don't give you as much choice as to your cabin, but can sometimes be good deals.
