Singles: I'm looking for an affordable Caribbean or Alaskan cruise for singles. Any suggestions?
I am straight, over 30, and currently unattached, and I am not looking for whatever hook-up I can get just because I'll never see the guy again. At the same time, I need a vacation, but don't want to be trapped on the ocean with a boatload of couples. I have taken many solo vacations and had a wonderful time, but never a cruise. Can you share your experiences with me for a nice time?
Good luck, I would love to do that myself.

What was the cause of death of HRH Princess Margaret Rose?
How shocking it was that HRH Princess Margaret Rose was denied the vitality of her senior years that her dear mother, HM the Queen Mother, enjoyed and that her sister, HM the Queen, is currently enjoying. Did her "colourful" lifestyle add to her demise? Did HM the Queen not try to influence her younger sister in a positive way by suggesting that she cease her escapades with younger men, drinking, smoking, and lascivious Caribbean holidays? And, what of her dear children, the Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones Chatto and the Viscount Linley? Have they retreated from society because of their mother's wanton reputation?
The only thing certain was that she suffered a series of strokes before she died...
I believe there was much more than we all know about her health. She was not the first royal to smoke heavily or to live such an intense life style. Lets not forget that she had good genes from her mother that made it to 101 and her sister seems that she will male her son become the first King of UK aged 80 at his accession!!
There was a health problem that was hidden from public eye or maybe a substance abuse that accumulated across the years...

Hi, my fiance and I are an active 24 year old couple getting married in July next year. We would like to go on our honeymoon to a tropical island, which is beautiful and relaxing, but also offers many things to actually go out and do. We are currently looking at Hawaii and some of the Caribbean islands. I understand that these are all very different, but what are your opinions on which destination would be best for us?
My suggestion is Couples Resort in Jaimaca. It's beautiful and they treat you like royalty. There are also a lot of activities to do such as horse back riding, climbing falls, dance and cooking classes, glass bottom boat rides, and so much more. Also, the rooms are very spacious and nice. And, it is restricted to adults only. It's very secure too.

I need to stay close by overnight before the cruise. Can someone recommend a minimum 3-4 star hotel either by the pier or in the city (with easy shuttle service to the pier). I don't have a lot of time, but I would like to do some sightseeing in the city if it's close by.
Thanks,
Maria
The closest hotels (5 min) to the Panamerican Pier will be Sheraton Old San Juan and Caribe Hilton. Hotels in PR do not offer shuttle services, you will have to take a taxi. They are great hotels and might be a bit expensive. A taxi ride should be around $10. There are more hotels in Condado and Isla Verde area for every budget and style, they will be 15-20 minutes away (depending on traffic) from the pier and a taxi should be around $20.

Hello,
I am looking to rent a villa with a couple of other families in the caribbean somewhere. Do you have any recommendations of a good website or company to use in looking for one?
My wife and I have been renting timeshares for the past 7 years. We use the same company every year. The website is www.buyatimeshare.com. They have every resort in the Caribbean available for rent. We've worked with their rental specialist for years. Her name is Debbie Roy. Check out the website and give them a call. Good Luck!

In february 2011, i will be going on a cruise in the southern caribbean. We will be docking off in puerto rico, then we go to st. thomas, st. kitts, barbados, st. lucia, and st. maarten.
A few of the things i would like to do is:
zip lining
swim with dolphins
shopping
tubing/water skiing
scuba-diving
...any other fun suggestions are welcome
you could let me know where it is, what time, how much $$, is there a website i can go look at it, when do i book it?, etc
and if you could let me know where some nice beaches are, or if i'm not going on any excursions at one particular place, what should i do?
thanks so much
ps. also if you have any tips or tell me about the ship itself, and what to do on it, what about for teenagers...i'm going on the carnival victory.
San Juan, PR has great shopping. Old San Juan has unique boutiques & shops. The Condado area has the high end stores like Gucci, etc. The carribeans largest mall is in the Hato Rey section of San Juan. It's called Plaza Las America's and has over 300 stores. You will need to take a taxi or bus there if you want to go. But also in San Juan you must see Old San Juan and El Morro Fort. It's beautiful. You can walk from the dock and see it all. You do not need to pay for excursions in PR for anything I mentioned. Just do it on your own.
St. Thomas has nice beaches with clear water so you can probably scuba dive there. Also I think they have a cable car or zipline that is popular.
